The Winthrop Summer Tennis Program brings the Greater Boston Community Tennis coaching model to Winthrop courts in partnership with Winthrop Parks & Recreation. The program offers young players ages 5 to 13 a fun, structured introduction to the game, building fundamentals, confidence, and a love of tennis in a supportive group setting.
Registration
Registration will be done directly through the Winthrop Parks & Rec website. $80 secures one recurring weekly class timeslot for the full 6 weeks. You may register for up to 4 classes per child. If registering for multiple classes on the same day, please select one morning and one evening time — two classes in a row is not permitted. The deadline for registration is July 9th.

Both age groups (ages 5–7 and 8–13) are available at each time slot.
Enrollment is capped at 6 children per class
Transportation
Participants in our Full Day and Half Day Program are eligible for Transportaion. Please contact MiKayla.
Waitlist
Families who don't secure a spot will be added to a waitlist, and we're happy to open additional sessions if demand calls for it. If enrollment is low for a particular session, we will adjust accordingly
Required Equipment
Please have your child bring a water bottle and a racket if you have one. Boston Tennis will provide tennis rackets to students who do not have their own.
Ages 5–7: 19"–21" racket, Ages 8–13: 23"–25" racket
