Registered players only!We require a minimum of 10 registered players to run this session.Equipment is provided so all you need is pair of sneakers, comfortable clothing and enthusiasm to have fun while getting exercise. No partners needed; everyone rotating partners playing opponents of all levels.Join one of the fastest growing sports in the US! That’s right. Pickleball! A fun sport (with a funny name) that combines many elements of tennis, badminton and ping-pong using an oversized paddle and perforated plastic ball played both indoors or outdoors on half the size of a tennis court. Originating in Washington State, the game gradually made its way across the country and it’s now here in Winthrop. There are over 100 places to play already in Massachusetts. You will find from casual play to competitive tournaments for all levels across the US and Canada. Come join the fun and keep active!
